Our membership comprises highly experienced pioneers in the motor vehicle importation sector. In enrolling new members, we give priority to individuals who are directly engaged in vehicle imports and who operate their own showrooms. This ensures that consumers have greater confidence when purchasing vehicles from trusted and established dealers.

I am honored and privileged to have been appointed as the President of the Vehicle Importers Association of Sri Lanka in 2025.

The goal of VIASL is to be the leading representative body of vehicle importers, proactively and effectively serving the interests of both its members and Sri Lankan customers. As a membership-based association, effective communication is vital. In this regard, we aim to establish an integrated communication platform exclusively for our members. Additionally, we plan to appoint district representatives to further strengthen engagement and collaboration across the country.

My sincere gratitude goes to the Executive Committee members of VIASL for their dedication and forward-thinking leadership, which continue to guide the Association in its mission to protect and promote the vehicle importation industry in Sri Lanka.

I also extend my heartfelt appreciation to our general membership for the trust they have placed in me. Their continuous support and valuable contributions play a vital role in driving the progress of both the Association and the industry as a whole.
